About the conference

25 YEARS for PGC!- Get ready for knowledge sharing, education, reunions, new friendships, good and safe food, great entertainment and unforgetable memories!

Child Care (Ages 6 months - 12 yrs.) $85 each
G-Force (Ages 13 - 17 yrs.) $130 each ($85 + $45 for off site activities)
*Generation G (Ages 18 yrs. and over) $130 each ($85 + $45 for off site activities)
GG Extra Guest for farewell dinner $25 each
Sheraton Hotel Room Rent Starting at $119/night
*Includes one guest for GG Farewell Dinner (Farewell dinner is for GG only.)

FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL- Join us for a GFMN Group sponsored Dessert & Entertainment Social with Entertainer Bob Stromberg.

Getting to the Conference

LOCATION- Conference will take place at the Sheraton in Bloomington, MN.
PGC has secured a block of rooms at a discounted group rate of $119/night. Reservations are currently being accepted. To make your reservation, go to the link on the left menu or call the hotel at 1-952-835-7800, be sure to mention PGC to get the group rate. For those who are driving, hotel parking is free.

AIRPORT- The recommended airport for travel is St. Paul, Minneapolis.
Sheraton provids a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport approximately every 15 minutes.

CAR RENTAL- If you are planning on getting a rental car, we highly recommend you rent your car at the Sheraton. Hotel guest receive a 25%discount.

Child Care (for ages 6 months-12 years)

KiddieCorp is very excited about providing the children's program during the 2010 Meeting. KiddieCorp is in its twenty fourth year of providing high quality children's programs and youth services to conventions, trade shows and special events.

ACTIVITIES- There will be arts & crafts, group games, music & movement, board games, story time, dramatic play, etc. There will be plenty of 'Wonderful World of Make Believe' to create a magical day for all. --> Read more...

DATES OF CARE- The dates childcare will be provided are July 23-24, 2010.

REGISTRATION- Advance registration deadline is June 4, 2010. Registration is a two step process. 1. Register on-line with Kiddie Corp. (no payment here) 2. Register for the PGC conference and make payment.

G Force (for ages 13-17 years)

PGC is proud to introduce 'G-FORCE' named for its meaning of 'moving forward'. This program is designed to provide an opportunity to learn, interact and have fun throughout the conference in Minnesota. Teens will be supervised by adult volunteers at all times, most of whom are certified teachers and nurses. We will offer both onsite and offsite activities like: Cosmic Bowling, Dairy Free Cooking Demo, Mad Science Show, Canoeing and much more! We hope all teens will JOIN THE FORCE! --> Read more...

Generation G (for young adults with galactosemia)

If you are 18 years or older and do not wish to register for the main adult program then we invite you to join the Generation G program. This program is designed for young adults of all ability levels. The GG program is coordinated and supervised by adult volunteers. If you are one of the AGERS, PGC conference is the perfect time to make new friends, renew old friendships and be role models to the younger generation.
